Fantastic finish to Floodlight final.

Tennis Floodlight Tournament

There were all too few spectators to watch an enthralling finish to the Tennis Floodlight tournament. However the play itself was anything but disappointing.

The four participants produced a final of very high quality tennis thoughout the two and half hours of actual play and in the end it was a shame that a pair had to lose.

Val Evans & John Day overcame Kay Henderson & Andy Hall 7/5, 5/7, 7/6 (8.6) and it has to be said that every point was very keenly contested and the standard was superb throughout.

Congratulations to all four players.
