North East of Scotland Indoor Championship

Ewan Mckinnie won the 12 and under title at the recent North East of Scotland Indoor Championship. In a close and exciting final, Ewan eventually won 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (11-9) against  Ewan Moore from the South of Scotland and the current ranked number 3 Scottish player. The victory sees Ewan Mckinnie consolidate his position within the Scottish top 5 ranked players.

Five other ITSC players competed at the tournament; Amber Paterson, Rory Grant, Iona Mckinnie, Stephen Grant and Martin McLeod; notable performances were from Amber achieving a 3rd place in the girls 12 and under age group and from Rory achieving a fine win to make round 3 in the tough 16 and under age group, well done to all.
